We've had a very busy few days building our second prototype.
Bigger and more powerful, it is fuelled by a 100 watt solar panel which will charge two lithium batteries. The boat's direction and speed is controlled by an Ardupilot (based on Arduino Mega), which can be updated remotely via the software Tower (mobile & tablet based) and Mission Planner (PC based).
Weighing in at 13kg, we are launching the boat tommorrow for it's first test; making good progress towards building our final Plastivore!
